From development specialist to manufacturer

Since 2002, HERION & RAU Fluidtechnik GmbH has been developing and manufacturing pressure switches and sensor technology. What began as a specialized development unit has become a company whose portfolio now includes mechanical and electronic pressure and vacuum switches for industrial applications, from mechanical engineering to energy and utilities engineering. Our products have a modular design and are engineered for demanding operating conditions: vibration, pressure peaks, fluctuating temperatures. Everything is developed and manufactured at our Nufringen site, in close coordination with our customers.

At our company, good solutions are the result of collaboration. Our development and design teams draw on the expertise of our assembly, quality assurance, sales and customer service teams. Our staff contribute the knowledge they gain from their day-to-day work with our products and customers – from the initial technical concept through to production and delivery. Our headquarters are in Nufringen, Germany. Development, design engineering, manufacturing, and quality inspection are all brought together here under one roof. This means short distances, fast coordination, and full control over production. From Nufringen, we supply pressure switches and sensors that are used worldwide.

Herion & Rau Fluidtechnik GmbH was founded and established in Herrenberg. The company began manufacturing and selling block pressure switches.
